Kony.

By now you must all be sick and tired of hearing about this guy. Or tired of people shooting down the ones who are sharing the links. The video says that sharing it will help. Giving us the idea that sharing will make him famous, more people will get angry, therefore forcing the government to do something.

Now I understand that people are mad at others for following a facebook "trend" and are just posting the video for likes. The majority of people have watched the video and genuinely think that sharing is caring, like the video leads us to believe.
I know that many people are naive, including my self. And yes unfortunatley due to today's society people have to find something popular to care. Which is why the video spread to facebook for people to care.

Many people have said " Well, what about the other causes?" Well, whether the kony thing is genuine or not, the guy who started the organisation has worked hard to get it where it's at now. Rather than having a go at others because they can't care about every single thing in the world or that they only care about something because it's popular isn't going to get you anywhere. If you're so bothered about other causes, find one and do the best you can to support it, and leave the rest of us to be naive in peace.

It doesn't matter how long people care for, it matters that they took the time to care. It's nice to know that people still have an ounce of care left in them, for someone other than the ones they know.
As someone who does a fair bit of charity work I know how hard it is to get people involved.
No we're not trying to be "Freedom fighters" we're just trying to care, even if it doesn't take any effect.
Now someone tell me that attempting to care is wrong, because it's not. I personally just think it's nice that people are coming together to help rather than hating on each other for once.

You got a fecking problem with people clogging up your news feed? Delete them or hide their posts.
Whats the point in having a go at others for not taking actions and then sitting on your fat arse in front of the computer on facebook eating a bag of doritos. You hypocritical bastards.

It's not just the case of Joseph Kony anymore, it's turned into something much bigger. It's showing us all, that yes this isn't the only injustice going on in the world, and that we should try and help as much as we can within reason, rather that frying our brains with the shite they put on MTV these days.

For all those people not doing anything about "All the other causes" or having a go at others because they're not "correct" or making out as if they're just "attention seeking" ( which I know a few are )

FECK YOU.
