Recently on facebook I've seen several different photos of a seriously ill grandmother, starving children, children with cancer and so on. All of these photo's have a heading of " Like if you're against cancer" or "like if you want my grandma to live!"... and my all time favourite " Like if you care about this starving child"
of course people care!
Personally I refuse to like any of them as I think it's sick. Sick and wrong.
The majority of the photos are either disturbing or upsetting. Liking a photo of a skeletal child isn't going to help. If you really want to make a difference, then donate to a charity, raise money or even sponsor a child!
These people posting the photo's don't care about the issue, or care that you may possibly care, they just know people want to come across as nice and will like their photo.
I mean what would you rather do? Sit and watch as you "popularity" goes up? Or actually attempt to do something about the issues you've raised, and of course care so much about.
Why someone would want to post a picture of their gran, or any family member on their deathbed on facebooks for likes I don't know. Nature will run it's course, what's meant to be will be, trust me if stuff like that could save people, I'd have sent a photo of my grandma around the world and back.
Grow up and get real.

Unseen talents?
My friend alice's website for nail art!
Many people have different talents, some more noticeable than others. Well there's this girl I know called Alice who does AMAZING nail art. No she hasn't asked me to do this, but I feel its necessary as she deserves to be seen! Not much of a blog I know but why not have a look at the site?
She can paint your nails for a certain amount ( I think) or she does fake nail sets to give to you, if you use correct nail varnish remover ( which can get rid of nail glue ) you can re-use them over and over again.
Also by reading this blog, it means you now have to click on the link and b r o w s e! Or I will eat you.
OMNOMNOM THE END.
Not quite... heres a taster...
Plenty more where that came from if you click on the link!

Too much conflict.
Recently there's been all the stuff on facebook about Kony and it's turned into something much bigger, people are actually arguing and falling out over what they "think" is true or not. There's been more evidence for the cause than against it. And all the "wise" people that have supposedly done " rresearch" and found that's completley accurate? You haven't. You're ignorant and extremely hypocritical. Fair enough have your opinion and say but when you tell others to "do their research" When you haven't done much of it your self it's kinda crossing the line!
Also, the majority of my friends and people I know are in college. So why, when you're a year or 2 older, do you feel the need to belittle people around you? Fact is, even though you're older, there's a high possibility, we're smarter and a lot more mature. SIMMER DOWN BITCH.
Could take that advice myself to be honest...
Also, there's been someone say some horrible things about the soldiers tonight, or yesterday was it?
Posting status' saying you want to kill him, or he should have this and done to him isn't going to do anything.
Yes I can understand you're mad and you want to show pride for your country. But saying things like that and even following those actions through just makes you just as much of a scumbag as him. You're sinking to his level, so just re-think okay?
Last but not least. R.I.P to the fallen soldiers. But why just pay your respects now someone from your area has been killed? It shouldn't take the closness of where you live to determine your respect for the soldiers. They die serving our country more than once or twice a year. I pay my respect to all those who have fallen. ALL YEAR ROUND.

Kony.
By now you must all be sick and tired of hearing about this guy. Or tired of people shooting down the ones who are sharing the links. The video says that sharing it will help. Giving us the idea that sharing will make him famous, more people will get angry, therefore forcing the government to do something.
Now I understand that people are mad at others for following a facebook "trend" and are just posting the video for likes. The majority of people have watched the video and genuinely think that sharing is caring, like the video leads us to believe.
I know that many people are naive, including my self. And yes unfortunatley due to today's society people have to find something popular to care. Which is why the video spread to facebook for people to care.
Many people have said " Well, what about the other causes?" Well, whether the kony thing is genuine or not, the guy who started the organisation has worked hard to get it where it's at now. Rather than having a go at others because they can't care about every single thing in the world or that they only care about something because it's popular isn't going to get you anywhere. If you're so bothered about other causes, find one and do the best you can to support it, and leave the rest of us to be naive in peace.
It doesn't matter how long people care for, it matters that they took the time to care. It's nice to know that people still have an ounce of care left in them, for someone other than the ones they know.
As someone who does a fair bit of charity work I know how hard it is to get people involved.
No we're not trying to be "Freedom fighters" we're just trying to care, even if it doesn't take any effect.
Now someone tell me that attempting to care is wrong, because it's not. I personally just think it's nice that people are coming together to help rather than hating on each other for once.
You got a fecking problem with people clogging up your news feed? Delete them or hide their posts.
Whats the point in having a go at others for not taking actions and then sitting on your fat arse in front of the computer on facebook eating a bag of doritos. You hypocritical bastards.
It's not just the case of Joseph Kony anymore, it's turned into something much bigger. It's showing us all, that yes this isn't the only injustice going on in the world, and that we should try and help as much as we can within reason, rather that frying our brains with the shite they put on MTV these days.
For all those people not doing anything about "All the other causes" or having a go at others because they're not "correct" or making out as if they're just "attention seeking" ( which I know a few are )
FECK YOU.
